Alex Ray "Galaxy Kidd" is a producer, singer-songwriter, sound engineer and instrumentalist from Madison, Wisconsin. He was born in 1998 and raised in Madison. Alex loved video game music as a kid growing up, and would often steal his brother's iPod to listen to music. For his 8th birthday, his brother bought him an electric guitar, and Alex would spend his free time covering songs by ear, and teaching himself to play. Alex would find a love for composing his own music after discovering a game called LittleBigPlanet 2 for the Playstation 3, which allowed users to arrange music using a MIDI-styled UI. Alex devoted as much of his time to music as possible after that, teaching himself about sound design, good producing practices, and the like. He was signed onto Vasky Records in 2023.
